Lower back pain is experienced by most people at some stage throughout their lives. The National Institute for Healthcare and Excellence, 2024 states that up to 60% of the adult population will suffer with lower back pain in their lifetime with 28.5% of 41–50-year-olds and one in four 80-year-olds in the UK having experienced lower back pain.
Lower back pain can affect your ability to perform every day activities including the ability to work and exercise.
